Training Plan for Trainers on the Three Pillars (Use of Technology, E-Content Development, Teaching Skills)
:Use of Technology –
Trainers undergo training for a duration of (15 training hours) to acquire the basic concepts related to technology and understand its applications in education. By the end of the training, the trainer is expected to be able to:
- Plan and effectively design technology-supported learning.
- Use technology to facilitate the assessment process.
- Use technology to improve performance and professional practice.
- Access the platform and use the middleware systems used in the educational process.
- Ensure possession of the tools necessary to deliver e-training efficiently.
- Be able to handle the training material technically, including attendance and testing systems.
- Safely use technology resources.
E-Content Development
Trainers undergo training for a duration of (15 training hours) on designing and developing e-content using computers and various applications, and then publishing and presenting it to students. Trainers will be able to choose from multiple alternatives for learning resources and interactive media according to each student’s needs—whether synchronously (Synchronous) or asynchronously (Asynchronous)—using Learning Management Systems and Educational Content Management Systems.
Teaching Skills
Our trainers receive training to acquire teaching skills in the following phases:
– Technology Phase:
- Mastering basic computer skills.
- Using Learning Management Systems and Educational Content Management Systems.
- Using online social media platforms in academic environments.
– Design Phase:
- Creating a complete description of the course.
- Mastering the skill of designing electronic educational content.
- Mastering the subject and using appropriate e-learning tools.
- Mastering the skill of diversifying teaching methods and encouraging teamwork and inquiry.
- Designing the content in accordance with the requirements of the supervising authority.
- Updating the electronic educational content while considering individual differences among students.
– Administrative System Phase:
- Ensuring the follow-up of electronic attendance.
- Ensuring student interaction by involving them in the learning process.
- Following up on students’ progress and understanding of the content.
- Continuous and fair assessment.
